  • Ladies One Day Fun Tournament 5 April 2024.

    Despite the incredibly windy conditions, 16 lady players had a great day of tennis (and lovely food). Catherine Gibby and Chris Bailey won a very close match against Cathy Brenner and Carol Cook 6-5. The consolation winners were Caroline Crossley and Anthea Thomas, who defeated Val Ashwood and Gail Hogg 4-1.

    The winter league has started! Featuring a mix of teams from towns and villages in the county, the league runs from November to April.   • You’re never too old!

    In October 2023 one of our members, Sandra Ayres, travelled to Mallorca to compete in the ITF Individual tennis World Championship competition in the over 75s category. Sandra succeeded in getting through to the last 16 only to be beaten narrowly by Andree Teische from Germany 7-5, 7-5 an excellent achievement. Well done Sandra!
