Hospital Cup tournament 2012

The Hospital Cup is an inter-club tournament comprising five competitions – men’s singles, ladies’ singles, men’s doubles, ladies’ doubles and mixed.  It is played on a knock-out basis, with matches being organised between the relevant competitors.  Details and entry forms for this year’s Hospital Cup tournament are now in the Clubhouse.  Please support this year’s tournament with your entry.  Last year, Stansted was represented in four of the five finals, and won three of them.

The Hospital Cup raises much needed funds for the League of Friends of Saffron Walden Community Hospital, which provides support for the Community Hospital and, in particular, Avocet Ward.

If you are unable to enter, there will be a chance to support the raffle, either through donating a prize and/or buying tickets.

The finals will be held on Saturday 22 September at Stebbing Tennis Club. All results will be available online – www.hospitalcup.org.

Closing date for entries is Friday 20 April.  Please note the rules before entering.  In particular, you must be a current member of Stansted Tennis Club (ie have paid your subs for 2012/13) and you must be available on the finals day.
