Court Repair and repainting
Thank you to all members for their understanding and patience over the timings of the court repair and painting. It has not been easy to arrange and is also weather dependant. Hopefully the wait will be well worth it!

Wimbledon Ballot
Congratulations to the 18 members who won Wimbledon tickets in last month’s STC Wimbledon Ballot. Three other members have also been lucky and received tickets with extra offers from the LTA. Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Bristow Junior Doubles Tournament
This will take place on Sunday 12th June. Please email me if you would like to enter.

Stansted in Bloom
I am sure you will agree that the planting is bushing up and looking very colourful. Thanks to everyone who has been watering in any spare moments. Please keep up the good work for the next three weeks.

Maintenance Session
Thanks to all the enthusiastic members who turned out to the last Maintenance session. Lots was achieved to improve the appearance of the Club.

President’s Cup Tournament
16 players took part in this event, which was won by Rick Lim and Carol Cook, who beat Chris Hollis and Sue Simpson in a gripping 6-5 final. A fish and chip supper, together with a few party games were enjoyed by the competitors after the tournament.

Senior and Junior Ladders
Please don’t forget to email me your results and also to record them on the results sheets.

Mix “n” Match Tournament
This has now been completed. Congratulations to this year’s winners, Brad and Sue Armorgie, who beat Rick Lim and Sue Simpson 4-6 6-1 7-5 in a closely fought final.

Hospital Cup
Please make sure that you have arranged your matches for the first round of this tournament.

Next Committee Meeting
This will take place at Jon and Ash’s house, 5 Coltsfield on Friday 3rd June at 7pm. If any member has anything they would like discussed, please either contact a committee member, or use the suggestion box in the clubhouse.

Ladies’ Night
The next Ladies’ Night will be on Monday 13th June starting at 7pm.
All ladies welcome!
