At last the weather seems to be improving and 7 matches have now been played in the Essex Small Clubs League. Stansted are off to an excellent start with 6 victories. Here are the results:

Ladies Premier

Mixed I

Annual General Meeting.  (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE)
Tuesday 19th February at 8pm at 18 Loates Pasture, Stansted. All members are warmly invited to attend. If there are any issues you would like to raise, please contact a committee member.

Next Committee Meeting – Monday 25th February at 8pm at 48 Rochford Road, Bishop’s Stortford.

Next Ladies’ Night – Monday 11th March at 7.00pm. All ladies are welcome to come along for a game!

British Tennis Membership (LTA)
We now have 50 signed up members, so a big thank you to all those who have taken the time to register. There are a lot of benefits for individuals doing this. One of the main attractions is the offer of Wimbledon tickets via the Club’s ballot, The more members we have, the more tickets we are offered. It’s quick, easy and free. Petition in Clubhouse
Gail Hogg has put a petition in the Clubhouse asking our members to oppose the proposed housing development in Bentfield Green. Please add your signature if you feel strongly.

A final reminder that the AGM is this Tuesday and the Committee would love to see you there.
